Boones Mill Lions Club
Sponsored by the Boones Mill Lions Club, serving the community since 1941! Please come and join the more than 7000 people who regularly help to make our festival a huge success.
Lions raise funds and give their time freely to help the less fortunate. Since 1925 when Helen Keller challenged the Lions to take up the cause of the visually impaired by becoming “knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness”, service to the blind has been one of the Lion’s Most significant activities.
The Boones Mill Lions Club meets at 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. A typical meeting includes a buffet dinner, a brief business meeting, and informative program. Each year, members, spouses and guests join the Lions for functions such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Lions Club Building is located at 125 Easy Street Boones Mill, Virginia
